In class today I learned alot however I was suprised at how much power the copyrighted organizations have in court. While everyone should know it is wrong to download music illegally the fines make it seem worse than many more crimes. With fines easily exceeding a thousand dollars, it is hard to believe that it cost the company that much in revenue. While I am all for companies cracking down on sharing illegal information because it can really cut into their bottom line, these lawsuits are a little excessive. Now after hearing this there is no way I will ever try to download information illegally. However i understand why someone would do somthing like this so i have some sympathy on this. There should be a set guideline on how much you can be fined if caught without an huge fine. Because if you are going to take music it is probably safer to shoplift it.

Joe Hatch
From Joe Hatch I learned a little more about how my mac works. But mostly i learned how to fix my PC at home which is running real slow. I have never defragged a computer so learning how to do that will be helpful. I learned why it is running slow and how it saves urls. I understand now how networks works and how to stay safe on our trinity network because our macs are not safe from viruses and hackers. From his presentation i now realizes what I need to change in order to stay safe and have my computer without problems.

hey
Hey. I am Richard Gibbs and am from Tomball, Texas which is on the north side of Houston. I am a Freshman here at Trinity and came from a small christian school in Tomball. I enjoy playing golf, soccer, baseball, basketball, and Xbox (Call of Duty mostly). I have three sisters, Rachel 20, Lisa 16, and Nicole 14.
I have very little computer background besides the required course about Microsoft Office in high school and the classes on how to use my Mac from Apple.
